SAFETY IS EVERYONE'S RESPONSIBILITY

1. Player safety comes first. 

2. As with many contact sports, RUGBY101 KIWI WARRIOR has an element of risk to the physical wellbeing of participants. 

3. RUGBY101 KIWI WARRIOR is committed to making the game as safe as we practically can for participants, ensuring they continue to enjoy playing rugby101 and have a lifelong love of the game. 

4. POLICY: The first consideration in all decisions must be the safety of all participants.

5. RUGBY101 KIWI WARRIOR takes safety especially concussion rules and management protocols seriously.

6. Failure to adhere to these protocols will result in a lifetime ban from RUGBY101 KIWI WARRIOR sport.

7. It is the player’s responsibility to ensure they are fit to play physically and mentally.

8. All players will sign a waiver acknowledging the risks and rewards of the sport of RUGBY101 KIWI WARRIOR and that they have read an understood the risks, rules and safety guidelines.

9. Movement between grades is not recommended.

10. The weight grades are designed for player safety. 

11. The governing body will rule on any concerns or breaches of player safety that are raised.

12. Players under the influence of any kind will be suspended immediately and the governing body will deal with this matter.

13. Anti Dope Policy

14. Drug Test players will be tested if anybody or players have reason to think someone is a user or under the influence.

15. Personal insurance is encouraged for every player’s protection and security.
